Welcome to our new Mom & Me Newsletter! My name is Patti Custaloe and I am the “ME” of Mom & Me. One of my passions, besides flowers, is writing - so this is a great opportunity for me to get to know my clients.
This is the first of many newsletters that will be published though our web-site although I am unsure at this time as to how often they will come out. My biggest issue is having the time to sit and write it so please bear with me.

Part of our job as florists is to educate the public on the products we work with as well as the services our industry can provide you. As a business working with a perishable product we invite customers to PLEASE let us know if you have any problems with our product. Example: your flowers didn’t last, the colours were not appropriate etc..
We, as a customer service industry, rely on your comments to make sure our products and services are to your satisfaction. We love to hear all the wonderful comments from our clients but we also respect those customers who take the time to let us know their concerns. Our motto is that a business should not be judged on individual mistakes but on how that business deals with those mistakes. We do pride ourselves on getting things right the first time but yes, we are human!!
If you have a complaint or concern regarding your flowers PLEASE let us know right away. If you wait for any period of time, it will not allow us to investigate the problem appropriately. Again, our product is perishable so if we need to know right away!
With the holiday season fast approaching my girls and I are frantically planning to make your Christmas gift giving easy and accommodating. Some things you should think about are trying to plan ahead for flowers. We are already accepting pre-orders for local as well as world-wide delivery of your Christmas gifts. So whenever you are ready, we are too! It will be one less thing for you to remember during the holiday season.
We will be displaying our Christmas products in the store starting in the first week in December. We have a fabulous selection of artificial flowers, decorations, wreaths etc. for you to look at along with our fresh products. We do a lot of custom designing at Christmas so bring in your fabric swatches and paint chips so that we can match your décor with a one-of-a-kind design!
I would also like to let you know that we are involved in the “HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS” showcase taking place on November 13th and 14th. This is a wonderful tour of elaborately decorated homes throughout the community. The money raised is being donated to the Rotary Centre for the Arts. If you are able to get tickets to this event, it is a fabulous way to get ideas for Christmas decorating in your own home.
Thank you for supporting our company and we look forward to hearing from you in the future!
